"I have a totally irrational fear of dentists, mainly due to a bad experience as a child. About a year ago, I contacted a few dentists online, explained this and enquired about full anaesthetic options to do all the work needed at once.

Andrew was the only one who replied, and he did so by phoning me and having an in-depth discussion about my fears, and my perceived problems with my mouth.

I agreed to go and see him for a "survey"...

WOW! That's about the best way to describe the experience...

I had some very extensive work done in my mouth over a period of four months. His injections are absolutely painless, and if you indicate any discomfort, he stops immediately. Even better, he explains everything he does in detail, so you know exactly what he is doing at any time and you never feel uncomfortable with anything he does.

His work is exemplary. I am still astounded daily by how much more confidence I have since I can smile at people, without covering my mouth in shame.

I live in Durban, and I work all over the world, but I will not hesitate to ever make a special trip to Sandton to go and see him if I need work done. I will simply not allow anyone else to work in my mouth. "

"We found Dr Sidelsky towards the end of last year and are very happy to report that he has been a wonderful dentist.

My three children have all seen him, Bella (6yrs) India (9 years) and James (11 years) all needed fillings. He managed to very successfully fill Isabella’s teeth in the chair, without having to go under a general anaesthetic. They are all happy with their fillings and got through the process as quickly and comfortably as possible. Dr Sidelsky also took the time to explain the brushing process to James and ensure he doesn’t over brush as he was doing, damaging his gums.

I have also seen Dr Sidelsky and found him most professional. He gave me two fillings and cleaned my teeth using his new sanding technology so they look all new and white again.

I highly recommend Dr Sidelsky, he is also reasonably priced and advises you of an approximate bill before doing the work so you don’t get a huge surprise at the end."

"My name is Geraldine and I am 46 years old. I was referred to Dr Sidelsky and was desperate for help.

I have been wearing dentures after a DIY "accident" 4 years ago, wherein I lost one of my front teeth. I hated every minute of having to wear it! I have also been experiencing problems with my gums and other teeth for a long period of time and the standard answer I usually received from attending dentist was "it is what it is…" This was starting to affect my personality and I felt withdrawn and did not want to laugh due to being "ashamed" of my smile.

After just one visit with Dr Sidelsky he assured me that I can "lose" the dentures and that he will be able to give me a "Hollywood smile" as I would love to have!

He really went the extra mile in obtaining all the information and explained the process to me with slideshows and photo's

On my 3rd visit he also did something "magical" and I no longer have to wear the horrible dentures!!!

"I had an emergency consultation with Dr Sidelsky and he has made a lifetime patient out of me. He managed to fit me in the very same day during my lunch break. He is kind, gentle and upfront. I would recommend him to everyone I know!

I initially chose Dr Sidelsky because he was the first to get back to me. I was given an appointment that very same day at a time which was convenient for me. The rooms were very clean and Dr Andrew and his staff are delightful people. I am so grateful that I have finally found a dentist that I like! :)"
